Welcome to Aberdare Golf Club. Founded in 1921 in Aberdare, South Wales, this beautiful parkland golf course sits on the hillsides overlooking the Cynon Valley, famous for its mature oak trees, warm welcome and association with Ryder Cup Golfer, Dai Rees.

Our clubhouse, which faces South East with views over the surrounding town and down the valley towards Cardiff is loved by members and guests alike. A patio that catches the sun is the ideal place to have a drink or bite to eat, while our function area and large bar are ideal for hosting your special event.

At Aberdare Golf Club we extend a warm welcome to everyone. Whether you want a round of golf, a wedding in a picturesque setting or a venue for your event, our dedicated team of staff are on hand to help.

Our golf course is situated on the hillsides overlooking the beautiful Cynon Valley with views that make you stop and take note. Measuring 5875 yards, the par 69 course is no pushover, but provides a fun challenge to golfers of all levels.

Our clubhouse is a hive of activity which regularly plays hosts to weddings, birthday parties and also as a venue for funerals and other occasions where that extra special touch and personal service is required.
